Fiduci-what!?
It’s simple — we have structured our business so that we ALWAYS act as a fiduciary and in your best interest. People are often surprised to learn that most financial planners are limited to when they act as a "fiduciary" and not through the entire advisor-client relationship. For these advisors their primary obligation is to the firm; their secondary obligation is to their client. At Rockford Financial Planning, it is our job and responsibility to get you and your family access to the best services and resources available in the industry, regardless of where they are housed.
Our transparent fee schedule makes it easy to understand exactly how we get paid. We are "fee only," which should not be confused with "fee based." There are no hidden fees.
Only 25% of all financial advisors in the industry hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. *

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to learn about the firm and our services.
I have been working in the Financial Services industry since the late 90's. While attending the University of Delaware I interned with a large wire house, then with a large independent broker dealer. After graduating, my second internship led to a full-time job where I worked for over 20 years.
Frustrated by how complicated it was to practice a fee only model, and the pressure to sell commission products, Rockford Financial Planning was established.
Our goal is to be a trusted advisor to our clients, bringing simplicity to complicated financial matters.
Outside of work you can find me spending time with my wife, Julia, two kids, Brooks and Morgan, and Goldendoodle, Mavrick.
What We Do:
What We Don't Do:
Here, it's about relationships. Our clients have no desire to disclose their financial life with someone who is just looking to make money. Their best interest is paramount when we offer advice.
